Since the beginning of the 80´s, rubber tracks have gained more and more importance in the building and construction industry. Initially, the rubber tracks had the exact same dimensions as the steel chains. Unfortunately, the vibrations of the rubber tracks were very uncomfortable, so they were optimized by using double quantity of segments and half the number of pitches.
The basic structure of Guma tracks consists of vulcanised moulded rubber castings with brass-plated steel mesh and forged metal inserts. The interlaced track pattern has been developed to achieve a high degree of running smoothness while simultaneously retaining its self-cleaning effect. We have protected the most significant components of this rubber track’s technical structure through registered utility models.
